DISCOVERY MEDCAMP 2019
Announcing Discovery MedCamp 2019!
What: Five-day, residential summer camp for 10th-12th grade students (including graduates) to learn about multi-discipline, health-care careers through hands-on activities and cutting-edge programs with health-care professionals on-site and in college, campus settings.
When: June 9-14, 2019
Where: Camp Chandler - on the shores of Lake Jordan in Wetumpka, AL
Qualifications: Students must be interested in health care, have a 3.5 GPA, and have completed the 10th-12th grade in Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Coffee, Dale, Elmore, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike or Russell counties.
Tuition is $350 and covers transportation during camp - to and from off-site locations, all meals and snacks, two camp shirts, and overnight lodging. A monthly payment plan is available. For information about tuition assistance email questions to:

Parents are responsible to transport students to and from camp, to provide bed linens, a pillow, and towels. All accepted campers require permission and updated health forms.
Group Activities: SEAAHEC will determine daily activities prior to the camp week from these options: archery, horseback riding, arts/crafts, hiking, fishing, low rope elements, and waterfront such as canoeing, sailboats, swimming. Camp Chandler is a YMCA camp and requires each camper to complete a swimming test prior to participation in water sports.
